Dr. T Manilall

Dr Trishka Manilall is a Medical Doctor who attained a Bachelor of Medical Science degree in 2009 followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery cum laude in 2013 from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal. She did her 2 year medical internship at Addington Hospital and thereafter Community Service at the Tongaat Community Health Centre. Dr Manilall then gained valuable experience and insight in several private and public institutions throughout Durban. She most recently spent several years in the subspecialty of Cardiology at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital. It was here that she noted a need for better management of chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol in the community as this prevents the onset of heart disease, kidney disease and strokes etc.

Dr Manilall has also kept abreast with another passion; Aesthetic Medicine which provides a way for patients to feel comfortable enough to discuss and treat their insecurities with their self image that impacts on their psychosocial well-being. She has been closely affiliated to The Aesthetic Medic and has developed and honed her skills and knowledge in this field over the years.

In addition to the above she also hopes to encourage women to prioritize their well being and offers comprehensive women’s health services like pap smears, ultrasound, family planning etc. Dr Manilall hopes to bring her wealth of experience to benefit the community and strives to ensure that her practice focuses on holistic care for the whole family in a caring and supportive environment. She also holds a Dispensing License from the Department of Health and therefore provides a convenient one stop experience for all patients by providing medication at their visit.
