🌟This is an account of a patient who after noti 🌟This is an account of a patient who after noting these symptoms decided to get her bloods done. 🌟The symptoms itself were diagnostic of diabetes without any further testing. 🌟But it is important to establish baseline values to enable further monitoring and also to detect complications eg. Kidney disease. 🌟This patient did in fact have secondary hypertriglyceridaemia as noted on bloods. 🌟Frequent infections are common in diabetes as is in any immune compromised state and should be aggressively treated to prevent uncontrollable sepsis. This includes skin infections, vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, ear and chest infections.😷🤧 🌟The take home message is that diagnosing this condition or any other is the first step towards managing and controlling it. Blood testing is a very important tool that we use Blood testing is a very important tool that we use to determine not just your overall health but also for specific conditions. 🩸🩸 Who should do blood testing should be determined by your medical doctor. The type of tests differs from patient to patient depending on their symptoms and individual profiles.
